Qatar Media Corporation Begins Broadcast Of New Channel QBC

Doha, Qatar: Qatar Media Corporation began the broadcast of a new business channel QBC - first of its kind in Qatar.

The channel went live, broadcasting in 4K, at 9am today morning, May 5, 2026. It will feature a wide range of economic programmes and specialised news bulletins.

His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Media Corporation, in a post on X said, "The launch of the Qatar Business Channel, QBC, today represents a step within the Qatar Media Corporation's direction toward developing specialized media, in line with the accelerating economic transformations, enhancing the quality of professional content, and supporting the business environment through accurate coverage, analytical insights, and diverse programs that serve various audience segments."

The corporation also announced that the channel will be live on its platform Tabie QMC.
