Chris Evans

Chris Evans is an Emeritus Professor of Taxation in the School of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation in the Business School at UNSW Sydney. He holds a PhD in Law from UNSW and various other degrees in Economics, Politics and Education.
He is an International Research Fellow at Oxford and an Extraordinary Professor at the University of Pretoria. He specialises in comparative taxation, capital and wealth taxation, tax law, policy, administration and reform.
He has researched and published extensively and is co-author of Australian Taxation Law and Cooper & Evans on CGT, as well as a former Editor of Australian Tax Review and Editorial Board member of other journals.
