Tegan Cohen

Dr Tegan Cohen (Wiradjuri) researches the regulation of digital platforms and artificial intelligence, privacy law and theory, and the laws of democracy and electoral politics.
She graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons. First Class) and Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Relations and English Literature in 2009. Tegan joined the federal public service, working at the Department of Foreign Affairs for a period before moving into legal practice. Following admission to the Supreme Court of the ACT in 2010, Tegan practised as a lawyer and then Senior Associate at top-tier and magic circle firms in Sydney and London, specialising in major technhology transactions, IP and data privacy law.
