Turkish Airlines Hosts Grand Iftar, Dinner Get-Together In Dhaka
Dhaka: Turkish Airlines, in collaboration with its general sales agent (GSA), AeroMate Services Limited, hosted a grand Iftar and dinner get-together evening on Tuesday, March 10, at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden in the capital.
Ramis Şen, Ambassador of Turkey to Bangladesh; İslam Güre, Country Manager in Bangladesh of Turkish Airlines; and Md. Nasser Shahrear Zahedee, Chairman of AeroMate Services Limited, alongside other key management from the airline and the GSA, were present among the distinguished guests during the event.
Apart from the dignitaries, the event brought together senior government officials, the airline's trade partners, representatives from top travel and tourism agencies, industry experts and leading professionals from the aviation and tourism sector, national celebrities, media personnel, corporate clients, and members of foreign embassies.
Addressing the gathering, Ambassador Şen said Turkish Airlines, along with its freighter division, Turkish Cargo, has made significant contributions to promote the bilateral economic and trade relations between Turkey and Bangladesh. Now, the country aims to further enhance this bilateral relation and regards the airline as a strategic partner to achieve this goal.
The ambassador described Turkish Airlines as a global brand of Turkey, which has become a proud representative of the nation in every corner of the world.
Country Manager Güre, in his speech, remarked the gathering reflects a strong bond, mutual respect, and cooperation between the airline and its partners and stakeholders in Bangladesh. These relationships are built not only on business but also on trust, friendships, and shared commitments that Turkish Airlines deeply values and cherishes.
Güre thanked everyone for their presence and extended his warmest wishes for the blessed month of Ramadan.
Chairman Zahedee expressed his gratitude to business partners, customers, and others who have been cooperating with the GSA to advance their activities forward. He assured AeroMate Services Limited will continue its commitment and dedication to ensuring quality Turkish Airlines services in Bangladesh to facilitate air travelers with greater convenience.
The event then progressed into a grand Iftar and dinner session. Attendees hailing from diverse sectors of Bangladesh thanked Turkish Airlines for fostering networking and strengthening bonds among industry stakeholders.
