Army Chief Receives Turkish Ambassador

Amman, Feb. 4 (Petra) – Chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Hunaiti on Wednesday received Turkish Ambassador to Amman Yakup Caymazoglu and an accompanying delegation at the General Command.
During the meeting, Hunaiti discussed ways to enhance relations and expand cooperation in defense fields, in addition to reviewing the latest regional and international developments.
Caymazoglu expressed appreciation for the significant role played by Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in supporting security and peace in the region. He stressed the importance of continuing cooperation in a manner that serves the interests of the armed forces of both countries.
