stc reaffirms its commitment to sustainability by sponsoring the Annual Kuwait Sustainability Event 2026


(MENAFN- Morimak) Kuwait, 04 February January 2026: Kuwait Telecommunications Company – stc, a world-class digital leader providing innovative services and platforms to customers, enabling the digital transformation in Kuwait, participated in the 5th annual Kuwait Sustainability Event (KSE) held at Murooj. The Company’s participation aligns with its ongoing commitment to empower the community in diverse ways, aligning with the objectives and framework of its expansive Sustainability Program and comprehensive corporate social responsibility agenda.
Through an interactive booth designed to highlight the elements of governance, environment, and society (ESG), stc engaged with visitors of all ages and contributed to raising awareness of the importance of corporate social responsibility. The initiative focused on educating younger generations, encouraging sustainable behaviors, and promoting community participation.
The company partnered with KISWA to encourage visitors to donate their old and unused clothes, which were then redistributed to those in need. This initiative aimed to promote responsible consumption and reduce waste. The company also highlighted its collaboration with Tadwire, a recycling specialist, raising awareness among visitors about the importance of safe electronic waste disposal. Attendees were encouraged to recycle their old electronic devices responsibly, contributing to a smaller environmental footprint.
The booth also featured the participation of the Naemati Foundation, which collected donations and supported initiatives to provide food for underprivileged families. This collaboration aimed to strengthen social solidarity and emphasize the importance of supporting vulnerable groups in Kuwait.
