Israeli Troops Arrest Three Palestinians in West Bank Operations

(MENAFN) Israeli forces carried out multiple raids in the occupied West Bank, detaining three Palestinians, according to reports.

In the town of Azzun, in eastern Qalqilya in the northern West Bank, soldiers reportedly stormed homes, conducted searches, damaged property, and detained two young Palestinians. Another young Palestinian was taken into custody in Silwad, east of Ramallah.

In Kafr Malik, troops conducted street patrols and checked residents’ identity cards. Meanwhile, in Tuqu, southeastern Bethlehem, clashes reportedly occurred between Israeli forces and local Palestinians. Soldiers were deployed in the town center, using tear gas and sound bombs, though no injuries were reported.

Separately, illegal settlers who have seized Palestinian land attacked farmland in the al-Masudiya area of Burqa, near Nablus. The assaults damaged crops and led to the theft of fencing around the agricultural plots.

Since the start of Israel’s offensive on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, raids, arrests, and settler attacks in the West Bank and East Jerusalem have increased sharply. Palestinian reports indicate that in nearly two years, at least 1,110 Palestinians have been killed, over 11,500 injured, and more than 21,000 detained.
