The Russian army also lost 11,507 (+8) tanks, 23,857 (+2) armored combat vehicles, 35,785 (+29) artillery systems, 1,592 (+2) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,268 (+0) air defense systems, aircraft – 434 (+0), helicopters – 347 (+0), tactical-level UAVs – 100,564 (+704), cruise missiles – 4,137 (+0), ships/boats – 28 (+0), submarines – 2 (+0), vehicles and tankers – 72,945 (+169), special equipment – 4,036 (+1).

As reported by Ukrinform, on January 4, as of 22:00, there were 154 combat clashes between the Defense Forces and Russian invaders on the front lin. The enemy attacked most actively in the Huliaypole and Pokrovsk directions.
