Prince Hassan Attends National Squash, Taekwondo Competitions
p-AMMAN - HRH Prince Hassan Bin Talal on Saturday attended part of the national squash team qualifications held at the Jordan Squash Federation headquarters at Al Hussein Youth City, and part of the Kingdom's Taekwondo Championship for boys and girls, which took place at Prince Rashid Hall.
Prince Hassan watched a match between Hazem Anawseh and Osama Bataineh as part of the national squash team qualifications, which featured a“high” technical and skill level from both competitors, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
The Jordan Squash Federation organised the qualifications to select members of the national teams, which are expected to participate in several tournaments this year.
The Kingdom's Taekwondo Championship is the first tournament of the Jordan Taekwondo Federation for 2026 and holds particular importance as a selection stage for the national team that will represent Jordan at the World Junior Taekwondo Championships, scheduled to be held in April in Uzbekistan.
