Kuwait Interior Minister During Illegal Fireworks Confiscation: Public Safety Paramount

KUWAIT, Jan 1 (KUNA) -- The safety of the public is of paramount importance, said First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al-Sabah during a campaign to confiscate improperly stored fireworks on Thursday.
The Interior Ministry said in a statement that the minister praised the campaign, saying that the ministry will hold rule-breakers responsible for any violations.
Legal action will be carried out against violators, he affirmed, revealing that a number of perpetrators were apprehended during the campaign along with fireworks caches.
The Ministry of Interior warned that harsh legal measures will be taken against violators, calling on all to abide by the law for the safety of people and the country. (end)
