Before my PhD, I obtained a Masters of Science (Engineering) in Sustainable Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Liverpool, UK. After my PhD, I have worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Bath, UK, and INRAE, France, and as a postdoctoral fellow at the the University of British Columbia, Canada, and currently at the University of Toronto, Canada. I worked as an engineer with Ove Arup & Partners, a global engineering consulting firm. I hold a graduate membership of the Institute of Structural Engineers, UK.
