Qatar International Court Welcomes Attorney General And Minister Of Justice Of Gambia
Doha, Qatar: The Qatar International Court welcomed H E Dawda Jallow, Attorney General and Minister of Justice of the Republic of the Gambia, along with H E Foday Malang, Ambassador of The Gambia to the State of Qatar, and the accompanying delegation.
The delegation was received by H E The Rt. Hon. Lord John Thomas, President of the Court, and Faisal bin Rashid Al-Sahouti, CEO of the Qatar International Court.
Minister Dawda Jallow received a detailed briefing on the Court's judicial jurisdiction, which covers civil and commercial disputes arising within the Qatar Financial Centre and the Free Zones, as well as the nature of cases filed before the Court and the procedures governing their management, which ensure independence, impartiality, and transparency for all parties.
In this context, Faisal Al-Sahouti, CEO of the Qatar International Court, emphasised the importance of this visit in enhancing avenues of cooperation in judicial fields, exchanging expertise and experience in civil and commercial matters, and exploring optimal ways to benefit from modern technology in facilitating and developing judicial procedures within commercial courts.
