I am an academic specialising in child and family law an in particular parental child abduction. I have a particular interest in children's rights. In addition to my former career as a Solicitor in practice, I also worked as an independent domestic violence worker, supporting those affected by domestic abuse, coercion and control. I am based within the Law School at the Open University and the Co- Director of the CRC ( Children's Research Centre).
