Doha, Qatar: With the attendance of 210 students, the Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center organised a lecture entitled“Youth Empowerment in Islam” at Mesaieed International School.

This event comes as part of the center's school visits programme conducted in coordination with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The center's delegated speaker discussed the importance of the youth stage in a person's life, the necessity of building the future, enhancing capabilities, and the fact that Allah Almighty will hold individuals accountable for their energy, time, and how they utilised and benefited from them. He also highlighted examples of how the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) empowered and supported young companions.

The students interacted actively, asking several questions that the speaker answered. They expressed their happiness with hosting such lectures at their school due to the great benefit they provide.
