Bensons For Beds Picks New Consumer PR Agency For The UK

LONDON - Furniture retailer Bensons For Beds has retained creative communications agency PrettyGreen as its consumer PR agency, following a pitch.
PrettyGreen will lead PR, influencer and brand storytelling, working closely with the in-house marketing and digital teams to help more people see Bensons as the destination for better sleep solutions. The appointment marks the next step in Bensons' brand transformation journey, as the retailer continues to build on its“Sleep is our obsession” platform.
“This was a really competitive process and PrettyGreen stood out for their creativity and energy. They just got us – and showed the mix of retail and digital know-how and fresh thinking we were looking for," said Lisa Richards, head of marketing at Bensons For Beds. "Their integrated approach will help us stand out by bringing to life the quality, value and care we offer customers. I'd also like to thank all the brilliant agencies we spoke to along the way for the time and thinking they put into the process.”
“We're thrilled to be working with such an iconic British retailer. Sleep is something everyone can relate to, and the Bensons team's passion for it is infectious. The news comes shortly after PrettyGreen appointed Louise Ali as its new digital PR business director to shape and grow its digital PR offering, building on the agency's PR and comms foundations. Ali will play a key role in the continued growth of the agency as it continues momentum following a series of new business wins and market expansion, it said in a statement earlier this year.
