Profile Articles Activity

Hi, I'm Regan, and I have taught English and Comparative Literature at MacEwan University since Fall 2017 as an Extended Sessional, and assumed my role as Assistant Professor in 2025. My current research focuses on how to integrate Holocaust literature and film meaningfully within the classroom to foster better social awareness of human rights issues. I also conducts research through the lens of postcolonial theory in regard to complex multi-layered identities and displacement resettlement narratives dealing with the“other.” Much of my past research has dealt with literary character portrayals of Jewish identities. I also contribute to projects in work integrated learning to help create opportunities for motivated students.
