Cairo IT Exhibition Concludes, Highlighting AI, Digital Innovations
Hosted at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in New Cairo, the event featured more than 500 exhibitors, including ministries, national institutions, and global tech companies, showcasing innovations in AI, 5G, cybersecurity, cloud computing, smart infrastructure, and digital education.
“This exhibition has become a key annual platform for ministries, banks, telecoms, and technology leaders to present innovations,” said Mohamed Lotfy, the event's media director. The four-day event included more than 90 discussion sessions, with nearly 500 speakers and concluded with around 27 major partnership agreements.
Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, inaugurated the event, highlighting ICT as a strategic sector that drives jobs, exports, and economic growth.
During the event, Minister of Communications and IT, Amr Talaat, announced the upcoming rollout of Egypt's digital ID and 45 online government services, covering commercial registry, notarisation, personal status, and social insurance, emphasizing ongoing investment in AI-powered public services and digital infrastructure.– NNN-MENA
