IS-KP Commander Killed In Karak After Four-Hour Gun Battle Linked To Failed Plot Against Maulana Fazlur Rehman
A key commander of the Daesh Khorasan group, Nisar Hakeem, was killed during a police operation in Karak district after a fierce exchange of fire late Wednesday night.
Officials said the slain commander was involved in planning the failed suicide attack on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
According to sources, police conducted a raid on a hideout in Ambiri village following an intelligence tip-off.

Nisar Hakeem was killed on the spot, while four police personnel sustained injuries during the encounter.
Sources added that Nisar Hakeem was associated with an active Daesh Khorasan network and had played a direct role in plotting the alleged suicide attack targeting Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
