Israeli Troops Shoot, Arrest Palestinian Teen in West Bank
(MENAFN) Israeli troops shot and wounded a Palestinian youth before detaining him during a raid in Yamun, a town west of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, local media reported.
According to Palestinian media, clashes erupted after Israeli forces stormed Yamun, with Palestinian youths throwing stones at the soldiers. "During the confrontation, one youth was shot with live ammunition and injured," the report said.
The radio station added that Israeli forces blocked ambulance crews from reaching the wounded youth, who was later detained and taken to an undisclosed location. "His condition and whereabouts remain unclear," the report noted.
Videos circulating on social media showed Israeli soldiers positioned near the injured youth, preventing medical teams from providing assistance.
