Srinagar- Member of Parliament Engineer Rashid, has reportedly been shifted to Jail Number 1 in Delhi's Tihar Prison following an alleged attack inside the jail premises recently.
The party confirmed that the MP from north Kashmir's Baramulla constituency was relocated to another block after the alleged assault incident sparked serious security concerns.
The party spokesperson said that Rashid, who has been lodged in Tihar was allegedly attacked by some inmates during a routine interaction period.
