(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform says.

Russian artillery struck border settlements, including Serhiivske, Khrinivka, Orlykivka, and Halahanivka in Chernihiv region, as well as Korenok in Sumy region.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces carried out six airstrikes, dropping 13 guided aerial bombs and conducting 57 artillery attacks, one of them from a multiple rocket launcher.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy assault near Kamianka.

In the Kupiansk sector, Russian troops conducted 11 assault attempts near Petropavlivka, toward Pishchane, Novoosynove, and Kurylivka. Six clashes are still ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, Russian forces attacked seven times near Myrne and Novoselivka, as well as toward Drobysheve and Stavky.

In the Sloviansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled two attacks near Serebrianka and Vyimka, with another engagement ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk sector, no offensive actions have been recorded so far today.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, Ukraine's defenders repelled seven enemy assaults near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Shcherbynivka, and Rusyn Yar; two other battles are still underway. Russian aircraft also struck Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, the Russians have made 32 attempts since morning to push Ukrainian forces from their positions near Shakhove, Fedorivka, Nove Shakhove, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Razine, Chervonyi Lyman, Novopavlivka, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Molodetske. Ukrainian troops repelled 28 assaults and continue to hold the line.

In the Oleksandrohrad sector, Russian forces attacked 11 times near Sichneve, Vorone, Stepove, Oleksiivka, Verbove, Pavlivka, Tsehelne, Uspenivka, and Krasnohirskyi, with one battle still ongoing. Russian aviation struck Demuryne, Velykomykhailivka, Orestopil, and Oleksiivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, seven clashes were recorded near Okhotnyche, four of which continue.

In the Orikhiv sector, Russian troops attacked twice near Stepnohirsk and Stepove.

In the Prydniprovske sector, no enemy assaults have been recorded today.

In other sectors of the front, the situation remains largely unchanged.

Earlier, Ukrinform reported that Ukrainian defenders stopped Russian attempts to expand their presence in the northern part of Pokrovsk, Donetsk region. The road connecting Pokrovsk and Rodynske remains under Ukrainian control.
