Srinagar- Following reports of chaos, cancellations and unpaid dues surrounding the private cricket league – Indian Heaven Premier League (IHPL) T20 in Srinagar, police have filed a case and initiated a probe into the matter.

A top police officer said that an FIR under relevant sections of law has been registered, while a probe is underway, reported news agency KNO.

Reportedly, players associated with the league alleged that they were not paid their promised payments and were asked not to come to the stadium due to“technical issues.”

Some also claimed they were asked to vacate their hotel accommodations.
