Field Marshal Asim Munir Visits Peshawar Vows To Eliminate Terrorists From KP
Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, during his visit to the 11 Corps Headquarters in Peshawar, held a jirga with tribal elders and was briefed on the overall security situation.
Field Marshal Munir reaffirmed that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be completely cleared of terrorists and their facilitators. He lauded the people of the province and tribal elders for their cooperation in ongoing operations against the Taliban and the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

However, he accused the Afghan Taliban of providing support to Pakistan's enemies, stating that instead of acting against India-backed militant groups“Fitna al-Khawarij” and“Fitna al-Hindustan,” the Afghan government has facilitated them.
