OIC Strongly Condemns Israeli Occupation Airstrike On Gaza

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, Oct 30 (KUNA) -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Thursday emphatically denounced recent air raids launched by Israeli occupying forces on the Gaza Strip, which led to the martyrdom of at least 100 Palestinians, mostly women and children.
In a press release, the OIC condemned this as an obvious breach of the ceasefire agreement that was reached on October 9.
The Jeddah-based Islamic bloc urged the international community to exert pressure on Israeli occupying forces to live up to their responsibilities as per international humanitarian law, abide by the ceasefire and allow humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
It also condemned the surge in Israeli occupation aggressions in the West Bank, including the closure of Jerusalem and roads leading to it under the pretext of securing a march of extremist settlers.
Gaza health authorities announced on Wednesday that more than 100 Palestinians, mostly children and women, were killed in attacks by Israeli occupying forces on several areas in the enclave since Tuesday evening. (end)
