Min. Of Social Affairs Visits Supreme Council For Family Affairs

KUWAIT, Oct 29 (KUNA) -- The Minister of Social, Family and Childhood Affairs Amthal Al-Huwailah visited on Wednesday The Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) to review progress of work in the various departments and sections.
The Secretary-General of the Council Mona Al-Mutairi, and a number of leaders and employees received the Minister, a press statement said.
During the visit, Minister Al-Huwailah stressed the need to continue working in the spirit of one team to achieve family stability and build a generation that is aware of Kuwaiti values, the statement added.
She pointed to the importance of developing the institutional performance of the (SCFA) and enhancing coordination between the various departments, to ensure the achievement of strategic goals related to Kuwait's development vision in the fields of family and childhood.
Several important topics were discussed during the visit, including the housing services, improvement of care environment provided to the beneficiary groups, proposals aimed at developing fieldwork, and community programs related to the family.
The Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA) is one of the most important bodies supporting the Ministry of Social Affairs in implementing social policies.(end)
