UK, Kuwait Discuss Partnership, Relieving The Afflicted

LONDON, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met on Thursday with Baroness Jenny Chapman, the UK Minister of State for International Development and Africa in the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
The meeting was held on the fringes of the 22nd session of the UK-Kuwait Joint Steering Group held in London.
The two sides discussed the partnership between the two countries in the spheres of humanitarian action, international development, means of boosting it for supporting afflicted communities in the region.
They also broached issues on the regional and international levels. (end)
