ASE Trading Volume Reaches JD9.5 Million

Amman, Oct. 9 (Petra) – The total trading volume of Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) on Thursday reached JD9.5 million, with 5.1 million shares traded through 4,050 transactions.
The general stock price index rose by 0.80 percent to close at 3,092 points.
Out of 100 companies traded, share prices increased for 50 companies and declined for 17, against the previous session.
At the sector level, the industrial and services indices rose by 1.62% and 0.82%, respectively, while the financial benchmark went up by 0.52%.
