
QC Chairman And Egyptian Ambassador Discuss Enhancing Cooperation In Trade And Investment
Doha, Qatar: Chairman of the Qatar Chamber (QC), Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, met yesterday at the Chamber's headquarters with H E Walid El-Faki, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the State of Qatar.
The meeting reviewed bilateral cooperation between the two countries and explored ways to strengthen ties in trade and investment fields, as well as the role of the Qatari private sector in stimulating trade exchange.
Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani praised the strong fraternal relations between Qatar and Egypt, highlighting the close ties between Qatar Chamber and the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce (FEDCOC).
He also emphasised the strong interest of the private sectors in both countries to expand trade and investment cooperation, encourage mutual and joint investments, and increase the volume of trade between the two nations.
