Vicki Scott Burns is a multiple award-winning children's author and the creative force behind the Charli Explores STEM Series. Her debut in the series, Charli's Turtle Triumph, has already received national recognition with four literary awards. Burns' love for storytelling began when she was just eight years old, and her dream of becoming an author came true in 2007 with the publication of Zamboni's Bath (Kaeden Publishing), followed by Zamboni's Goal.

Before dedicating herself to writing, Burns spent years teaching 2nd and 3rd grade, where she saw firsthand the power of stories to inspire curiosity and learning.
