Vitasta Law School, Nowgam Police Hold Seminar On New Criminal Laws

Srinagar- The Vitasta School of Law and Humanities today organized a highly informative seminar in collaboration with the Nowgam Police Station, focusing on the ground-level challenges and practical application of new criminal laws. The event provided a crucial bridge between theoretical legal education and the realities of law enforcement.

The seminar was graced by distinguished police officials who shared their invaluable field experience. DySP (Probationer) Anwar Khan and SHO Nowgam, Mashrat Ahmad, served as the key resource persons. They enlightened the audience with practical examples from their daily duties, shedding light on the harsh realities and the extent to which new legislation is applicable in real-world scenarios. Their insights offered students a rare glimpse into the complexities of implementing laws on the ground.

The event was chaired by the Principal of Vitasta School of Law and Humanities, Rakib Ahmad Zia. The entire program was coordinated by Sadaf Sareen Khan and. Uzma Yaqoob who was also present throughout the event, providing support.

The seminar saw enthusiastic participation from the 3rd Semester students of the college. The logistical and managerial responsibilities were successfully handled by the student organizing team from the 2021 Batch, led by Faizan Fayaz. His team, comprising Mohsin Mushtaq, Sadaf Ayoub, and Safeer Ahmad, coordinated the event seamlessly. Sheeraz Bhat was also present as a senior student representative.
