Trade Volume Between Jordan, US Reaches JD2.157B In First Seven Months Of 2025

Amman, Sept. 26 (Petra)-- From the start of this year to the end of July, the amount of trade between the United States and Jordan was JD2.157 billion, up from JD2.028 billion during the same time previous year.
In specifics, the value of domestic exports to the US market at the end of July was JD1.261 billion, down 2.5 percent from JD1.293 billion during the same time previous year.
By the end of July, the Kingdom's imports from the US had grown by 21.9 percent to JD896 million, up from JD735 million during the same time last year.
The Kingdom's trade surplus with the United States reached JD365 million by the end of July of this year, according to official statistics tracked by the Jordan News Agency (Petra).
By the end of July this year, Jordan's national exports to the United States made up 24 percent of the country's total export value. These exports were mostly split between the apparel, fertilizer and chemical products, jewelry, pharmaceuticals, food and animal products, information technology services, and engineering sectors.
Metal products, machinery, electrical appliances, grains, medical devices, transportation equipment, furniture, iron products, used clothing, vegetable oils and fats, metal products, and wood and its products were the main imports from the US market into Jordan.
