Tidy Cupboards, Savings Buffer And An Organised Inbox Show Life's In Order

(MENAFN- SWNS Digital) The signs you've got your life together include having pristine cupboards, a decent savings buffer - and keeping your emails under control. A poll of 2,000 Brits found 31 per cent reckon putting laundry away as soon as it's dry is a major giveaway, while 28 per cent believe batch cookers are clearly on top of things. And for 43 per cent, having important documents neatly filed and easy to find is a dead giveaway of an organised life. One in three (32 per cent) believe those who always have time for hobbies and creative pursuits have truly got it all sorted. Luisa Beck from Cricut, the smart cutting machine that helps organise life with custom projects, which commissioned the research, said:“When life feels organised, everything else seems to flow more smoothly. “Even simple solutions like tidying away paperwork, planning meals in advance or keeping track of birthdays can have a big impact on how in control people feel. “Having your life together isn't just about neat cupboards – it's about giving yourself peace of mind and freeing up headspace. “And when people achieve that, they often feel calmer, happier, and better able to focus on the things that really matter.” The poll also revealed 82 per cent of Brits consider themselves organised – with 53 per cent admitting they feel far more in control when they're on top of things. Almost half (47 per cent) added they make the effort because they hate feeling rushed, while 46 per cent simply like their surroundings to be neat and tidy. And the benefits don't stop there – 75 per cent said being organised even helps them save money. For 55 per cent, they avoid missed payments, while others compare prices before splashing out (53 per cent), or cut down on food waste by planning meals ahead (48 per cent). Keeping on top of things also helps many unlock their creative side, with 55 per cent attributing being organised to giving them the freedom to be more inventive. Of these, 57 per cent claim it frees up time to think clearly, while 54 per cent feel calmer and more ready to create, according to the survey conducted via OnePoll. A further 35 per cent are actively on the hunt for creative solutions to make life easier around the home – from repurposing jars and ladders as clever storage, to crafting DIY furniture. What's more, 27 per cent have come up with their own personalised organisation systems, and 14 per cent even colour-code their belongings to keep everything in order. Cricut's Luisa Beck added:“Organisation and creativity go hand in hand. “When you've got your home and routines under control, you free up both time and energy to try new things – whether that's making, crafting, or simply running your household more efficiently. “It gives people the space to think differently and find smart solutions to everyday challenges. “Ultimately, being organised isn't restrictive – it's the foundation that lets creativity thrive.” TOP 30 SIGNS YOU'VE GOT YOUR LIFE TOGETHER: 1.
