Prime Minister Meets Oman Foreign Minister At UNGA
New York: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Thursday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, HE Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. It focused on reviewing bilateral relations, enhancing cooperation and discussing the latest developments in the region-particularly in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories. They also addressed several topics of common interest.
HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs stressed the importance of intensifying regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region through dialogue and peaceful means.
