Up To 107 Property Deals Worth USD 215 Million In Less Than Week In Kuwait

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 25 (KUNA) -- Statistics released by the real-estate and documentation division at the Ministry of Justice showed that there were 107 real-estate transactions in less than a week, valued at KD 65 million (USD 215 million).
The figures posted on the ministry website alluded to the transactions between September 14 and 18, with private property contracts coming on top with 73 plots valued at KD 30 million (USD 99 million).
Investment plots deals came second with trades in 23 units valued at KD 21.2 million (USD 69.9 million). There were also trades in five commercial plots with a value of KD 4.3 million (USD 14 million).
Additionally, there were five contracts in warehouses worth KD 8.8 million (USD 25 million), a single plot at the coastal region, valued at KD 675,000 (USD 2.2 million), while the handicrafts sector witnessed no activity. (end)
