Sameer Wankhede Sues Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies For ₹2 Crore Over Netflix Show 'The Ba***Ds Of Bollywood'
(MENAFN- Live Mint) IRS officer Sameer Wankhede has filed a defamation suit in the Delhi high court against Red Chillies Entertainment limited owned by actor Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan for their television series“Ba***ds of Bollywood”.
In his suit, seeking ₹2 crore for damages, Wankhede alleged that the Netflix series disseminates a“false, malicious, and defamatory” portrayal of anti- drug enforcement agencies in the Netflix series. He has proposed to donate the amount to Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital for the treatment of cancer patients.
