The 13Th Kuwaiti Relief Planeload Of Supplies Arrives In Al-Arish

CAIRO, Sept 24 (KUNA) -- The 13th Kuwaiti planeload of humanitarian supplies for Gaza arrived at Al-Arish airport in northern Sinai on Wednesday, carrying 40 tons of food supplies designated for the besieged Palestinian population in Gaza Strip.
Director of Operations of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Zainab Qambar told KUNA in a statement that this flight comes as part of "Fazaa for Gaza" campaign, organized under the supervision of KRCS, with close cooperation from Kuwait's Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Social Affairs.
Qambar said that this aid shipment transported by the Kuwaiti Air Force plane consists of basic food baskets provided by the Islamic Heritage Society, indicating that the flight is the 13th of the relief bridge launched by Kuwait in accordance with directives of Kuwait political leadership for the benefit of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
She added that the ongoing relief aid reflects Kuwait's genuine stance in providing support to those in need and confirms Kuwait's pioneering and influential role in charitable work at the regional and international levels.
Qambar expressed her gratitude to the Kuwaiti charitable organizations participating in preparing aid shipments for the people of Gaza, as well as to the Kuwaiti Embassy in Egypt and the Egyptian and Palestinian Red Crescent Societies for receiving the Kuwaiti aid shipments at Al-Arish Airport.
