Info. Min. Kicks Off Kuwait's Leadership By Will Campaign


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 21 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi on Sunday launched the "Leadership by Will" national campaign to show how Kuwaiti determination drives progress.
The campaign is part of the ministry's plan to modernize media, boost tourism, and strengthen culture, with projects working togaether that invite participation from the public, private sector, and youth, he said in a speech during the launch.
Kuwait is moving forward with faith and determination, guided by the wise leadership - under the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah - to serve the nation and meet citizens' aspirations, he said.
The campaign highlights a national tradition of turning challenges into opportunities and seeks to inspire the next generation to carry the leadership, he pointed out.
Al-Mutairi also announced "Visit Kuwait," a national tourism digital platform with an e-visa, an interactive destination map, a 24/7 smart assistant called "Rashed," and special offers with top partners.
It will act as a single window for local and international investors across hotels, restaurants, transport, entertainment, and sports, and is slated to go live on November 1, he mentioned.
Kuwait TV's News Channel will expand, with about 13 new programs and more than 15 updated ones to improve news and analysis, he added.
The channel will not only report developments but also tell stories that reflect Kuwaiti society and document national achievements, he said.
The event included videos about the campaign, the "Visit Kuwait" platform, the channel's refreshed identity, and Kuwait TV's October programming lineup. (end)
