Kuwait Condemns Attack On Mosque In Al-Fasher, Sudan

KUWAIT, Sept 21 (KUNA) -- The State of Kuwait expressed condemnation of the attack targeting against a mosque in the city of Al-Fasher, Sudan.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Kuwait was against all acts of violence and attacks targeting civilians and places of worship.
Kuwait called for an immediate ceasefire and the implementation of the 2023 Jeddah Agreement, which called for the protection of civilians and the guaranteed delivery of humanitarian assistance in accordance with relevant international resolutions.
The statement expressed sincere condolences from the State of Kuwait to the families of the victims and swift recovery of those wounded in the attack. (end)
