Amman, Sept. 21 (Petra) -- The Jordan Chamber of Commerce will host the second Invest in Digital Economy Forum under Royal Patronage on Monday, in cooperation with the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development. The event will convene officials, business leaders, and experts from across the Islamic world under the theme "Digital Transformation for a Sustainable Digital Economy."
Held in Amman for the second year in a row, the forum will explore opportunities in digital transformation, innovation, entrepreneurship, and investment. Participants include ministers, heads of Arab and Islamic chambers of commerce, international organizations, investors, and entrepreneurs from Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states.
Chamber President Senator Khalil Al-Haj Tawfiq said Jordan's selection as host reflects its strong ICT infrastructure, attractive investment environment, and skilled workforce. He noted that Amman was named the Capital of the Digital Economy in the Islamic World at last year's forum, underscoring the Kingdom's rising profile as a hub for technology and innovation.
The program features ministerial dialogues on digital strategies, sessions on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, fintech, entrepreneurship, venture capital, outsourcing, and digital education. A special presentation, "Jordan: Gateway to the Digital Economy in the Region," will spotlight the Kingdom's growing role as a regional leader.
Al-Haj Tawfiq added that the forum offers a strategic platform for forging partnerships and attracting investments in line with Jordan's Economic Modernization Vision, with new projects expected to be announced.
