Adam Skyoles is a Ph.D. candidate in the School of Planning at the University of Waterloo. He started his post-secondary studies in his hometown at the University of Windsor, where he obtained both his B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. in Environmental Science. His research interests include urban ecology, ecosystem services, resilience, and human wellbeing. His dissertation research is focused on understanding nature's role in residential development with the goal of identifying opportunities to support urban ecosystem services and foster greater urban resilience.
