Prime Minister Meets Algerian Foreign Minister
Doha, Qatar: HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received HE Ahmed Attaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria, on the sidelines of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit hosted by Doha today.
During the meeting, they reviewed cooperation between the two countries and ways to support and strengthen them, as well as developments in the region, particularly the cowardly Israeli attack on Doha.
His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the State of Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and preserve its sovereignty in the face of the blatant Israeli attack.
For his part, the Algerian Foreign Minister reiterated his country's absolute solidarity with the State of Qatar, describing the Israeli attack as a violation of Qatar's sovereignty and international law.
