Israel Vows to Eliminate Hamas Leaders

(MENAFN) Israel is resolute in its mission to eliminate Hamas leadership wherever they may be and will persist until every one of them is dead, Israeli Envoy to the United States Yechiel Leiter declared to Fox News on Tuesday.

Earlier that day, Israeli aerial bombardments struck a residential complex in Doha, Qatar, aiming at prominent members of Hamas’ political bureau.

The movement stated that its representatives survived the assault, while the strike drew reproach from the White House and was denounced by Qatar.

“If we didn’t get them this time, we’ll get them the next time,” Leiter asserted.

The ambassador characterized Hamas as “enemies of Western civilization” and contended that Israel’s measures were transforming the Middle East in ways “moderate” nations recognized and appreciated. Speaking of Arab states, he remarked, “Right now, we may be subject to a little bit of criticism. They’ll get over it.”

US President Donald Trump emphasized that although dismantling Hamas was a valid objective, targeting a US partner weakened both American and Israeli strategic interests.

Leiter stressed that Israel had “never had a better friend in the White House” and highlighted that Washington and West Jerusalem stood firmly united in their pursuit of the militant faction’s eradication.
