Khetika Strengthens Hyderabad Market Presence With New Regional Plant, Aims For Aggressive Growth

(MENAFN- ForPressRelease) Hyderabad, 9th September 2025: Khetika, one of India's largest clean and healthy food brands in the staples category, has announced the launch of its new Fresh range manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. Positioned in the heart of the high-growth market, the plant strengthens the brand's footprint across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, which are key markets for staples.

The new unit is dedicated to Khetika's preservative-free Fresh range, and is the largest clean label, stone-ground batter & chutney plant in India. This will be Khetika's 4th dedicated Fresh plant in its national supply chain, with 2 additional plants catering to spices, dry fruits, and nuts. Together, these plants total to over 2 lakh sq. ft of manufacturing facilities across India. The Hyderabad plant will package 14 SKUs tailored for local preferences and also introduce millet-based batters and seasonal chutney flavours to tap into the region's growing demand for high-protein, authentic breakfast staples. The plant has also created jobs for the local economy, employing 100% of its staff from the region.

“Being born and brought up in Guntur, it is a very meaningful emotional moment for me to inaugurate our new manufacturing facility dedicated to clean label batters, chutneys and other fresh products in Hyderabad,” said Raghuveer Allada, Co-founder & CFO, Khetika.“This facility is the largest clean label, stone ground batter & chutney plant in the country, and will enable us to bring our products to customers in the city within 24 hours of manufacturing. The new plant blends technology with our traditional stone grinding process for batters and chutneys, which gives our products authentic taste – just like from your grandmother's kitchen.”

The plant integrates IoT-based monitoring, Khetika's patented SuperGRTTM AI quality checks, and predictive analytics to ensure quality and consistency at scale. The brand is also adopting recyclable packaging across all SKUs and is gradually transitioning to EV-led distribution to prioritise sustainability. By reducing reliance on long-haul shipments and embedding itself into Khetika's hub-and-spoke model, the Hyderabad facility will meaningfully boost supply chain efficiency and profitability.

“We're reshaping how fresh foods reach Indian homes,” added Dr. Prithwi Singh, Co-founder and CEO, Khetika.“Our nano-plant model, stone-ground process, and farm-to-plate sourcing give us a unique competitive advantage: authentic taste, nutritional strength, and unmatched freshness. By further prioritising using traditional and sustainable processes, we're committing to making a long-term bet on the markets in the region and offering consumers products that they can trust.”

Khetika will also continue to source its raw materials directly from farmers across India, staying true to its clean-label promise and ensuring traceability and authenticity in every batch. The brand recently completed a successful $18 million Series B funding round in July 2025. It continues to be the only national player offering clean-label, stone-ground batters and chutneys, along with India's first fresh, preservative-free chutneys made with traditional methods. With strong partnerships across leading quick-commerce, e-commerce, modern trade, and regional channels, Khetika is also ensuring widespread availability for consumers.
