Amman, Sept. 8 (Petra)-- The National Center for Curriculum Development launched a training program targeting supervisors from various education directorates across the Kingdom.
The program aims to introduce business mathematics, a subject being offered for the first time as part of the secondary education development plan starting in the 2025–2026 academic year, the center said in a statement.
The training focused on teaching methods and classroom approaches to ensure effective knowledge transfer to teachers in the field.
It emphasizes linking theoretical concepts with practical, real-life applications to enhance students' understanding and enhance their analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Omar Abu Ghlyon, head of the mathematics curriculum team at the center, explained that the subject will equip business students with essential mathematical tools such as matrices, graph theory, and linear programming, in addition to statistics and probability.
He noted that the course bridges secondary education with the needs of higher education and the labor market.
