Doha, Qatar: The Filipino Muslim community organised a lecture titled“Vision, Values, and Conduct”, delivered to around 33 boys and girls, with a total attendance of 65 participants including families.

The event was held as part of the center's efforts to enhance religious awareness among non-Arabic-speaking Muslim communities.

The preacher highlighted the importance of ethics in the life of a Muslim, stressing the need for Muslims to uphold Islamic moral requirements in their daily lives, driven primarily by the desire to please Allah Almighty.

He explained that morality in Islam is essentially a bond between the servant and his Lord, and interactions with people fall under this greater and more comprehensive meaning.

Therefore, morals are more closely tied to a Muslim's character than to external regulations such as legal oversight. For this reason, it is essential for Muslims to focus on cultivating good character and refining their behaviour so they may serve as role models for others and reflect the true essence of Islam through their conduct.

The center's focus on children and youth comes within its broader efforts to engage with issues concerning the new generations, strengthen their knowledge of Islamic values, morals, and upright behaviour, and provide meaningful activities that enrich the experiences and knowledge of children from Muslim expatriate communities.
