Gasoline Up, Diesel And Kerosene Down Globally In 3Rd Week Of August

Amman, Aug. 26 (Petra) -- The average prices of 95 and 90 octane gasoline rose, while prices of diesel and kerosene dropped during the third week of August compared to the second week of the same month, according to the weekly bulletin issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
According to the bulletin, the price of 95-octane gasoline increased from USD 679 to USD 687 per ton, marking a 1.2% rise. Meanwhile, 90-octane gasoline rose from USD 656 to USD 660 per ton, a slight increase of 0.6%.
The average price of diesel dropped from USD 613 to USD 603 per ton, a 1.6% decrease. Similarly, kerosene prices fell from USD 638 to USD 634 per ton, down by 0.6%. The price of fuel oil also declined from USD 394 to USD 387 per ton, reflecting a 1.6% drop.
On the other hand, the average price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for August stood at USD 498 per ton, compared to USD 553 per ton in July, showing a 9.9% decrease.
Meanwhile, the average price of Brent crude remained stable at USD 68 per barrel.
