(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, Aug 18 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Jordanian Ministry of Government Communication Zaid Nawaiseh reaffirmed Monday the country's firm commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, especially in media.
Nawaiseh made the remarks while receiving a delegation of GCC news agencies at the ministry's headquarter, as part of exchange of programs between Jordan news agency (Petra) and the Gulf news agencies, in coordination with the GCC General Secretariat.
He reiterated that media cooperation has evolved in recent years to take an institutional dimension under the GCC umbrella, mentioning that meetings have focused on exchanging expertise between Petra and its counterparts in the Gulf, as well as the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation. (end)
