
Egyptian Authorities Set November 1St As Grand Egyptian Museum's Inauguration Day
Cairo: Prime Minister of Egypt Dr. Mostafa Madbouly announced that the Grand Egyptian Museum's official inauguration will take place on November 1.
During a Cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Dr. Madbouly said that the opening ceremony will be attended by prominent official delegations from numerous countries around the world and that the event will be accompanied by several activities, with preparations underway to make it an exceptional occasion.
Located near the historic Giza Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum houses thousands of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including a vast exhibition hall dedicated to King Tutankhamun, as well as various gallery spaces and a children's museum.
