
Czech Midfielder Pavel Sulc Signs Four-Year Lyon Deal
Lyon: Czech international Pavel Sulc has signed a four-year deal with French club Lyon from Viktoria Plzen, the Ligue 1 side announced on Monday.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder has penned a contract until 2029 worth 7.5 million euros ($8.6 million) with bonuses of 2.5 million euros.
A 15 percent stake on any potential capital gain in a future sale was also included in the transaction.
Sulc, who has 14 caps for the national team and scored four goals, has spent most of his career at Viktoria Plzen, last season's Czech league runners-up. He has made 167 appearances for the club scoring 47 goals.
Last season, Sulc, who scored 20 goals and provided 15 assists, was voted the Czech league's best player.
Lyon finished sixth in Ligue 1 last season.
