Emirates Appoints Talal Al Gergaw As New Country Manager For Bangladesh


(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dubai: Emirates has announced the appointment of Talal Al Gergaw as the new Country Manager for Bangladesh, effective 1 August 2025. Talal currently serves as Country Manager for Zimbabwe and brings with him a wealth of experience in airline operations and commercial leadership.

In his new role, Talal will be responsible for driving Emirates' commercial objectives in Bangladesh, managing airline operations, and strengthening strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the market.

This appointment comes as part of Emirates' latest leadership rotation under its Commercial Outstation Managers Programme, which includes several key markets across West Asia, the Indian Ocean, and Africa. These changes are designed to enhance the airline's commercial and operational presence while nurturing the next generation of UAE national leaders.

As part of the new appointments, Jaber Mohamed, who is currently serving as Emirates' Country Manager for Bangladesh, will transition to become Country Manager for Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Meanwhile, Salem Almana, Regional Manager for Pakistan, will take on the role of Country Manager for Ghana. Omar Bushlaibi, currently Country Manager for Zambia, will assume interim responsibility for Zimbabwe, in addition to his current duties.

The Emirates Commercial Outstation Managers Programme is a key pillar of the airline's Emiratisation strategy, offering UAE Nationals diverse career development opportunities. The initiative is aimed at helping Emirati leaders broaden their international experience, deepen market knowledge, and forge stronger connections with local industry and government stakeholders.
